I want to lose weight. Can you help with that?

Many of our clients not only lose weight but improve their BMI. Significant weight loss is often reported by those who consistently work out on the Power Plate in conjunction with a healthy, calorie-controlled diet.

Research shows Power Plate use may have a significant influence upon the reduction of body fat when used as part of an active lifestyle. This is partly due to an increase in metabolism both during and following exercise. One of the reasons for this is increased lymphatic flow and flushing of biological waste and retained fluids.

I don’t have enough energy. Can you help me with that?

Many of our clients regularly report improved energy levels. In addition to building endurance through our Power Plate training, we build a custom cardio routine for each client.

Activities focused on building cardio endurance are key to increased energy. Once you become active, you’re likely to have more energy than before. As you do more, you also may notice that you can do things more easily, faster, and for longer than before. Regular, moderate physical activity can help reduce fatigue and even help manage stress.

New research shows that regular exercise can increase energy levels even among people suffering from chronic medical conditions associated with fatigue, like cancer and heart disease. Also, sedentary people who completed a regular exercise regime decreased fatigue and increased energy.

I have bad knees and/or hips. I also may be be facing a replacement. Can you still help me exercise?

One of the most important things that you can do if you have bad knees, hips, shoulders, arthritis or are looking at joint replacement is to get stronger. It is important to keep the muscles strong, because they will decrease the stresses that go to those joints.

Almost everyone can benefit from doing a low-impact type of regular exercise program. That’s the beauty of the Power Plate. You can build muscle without putting any strain on your joints. Our clients are always amazed at how much they improve exercising on the Power Plate.

For those facing surgery, one of the best things to improve the outcome is to get stronger before the procedure.

It has been a long time since I have done any type of workout. I am afraid of injuring myself. How can you help?

We hear that a lot from our new clients. We help our clients learn to work out smarter, not harder every day.

Most people know they should exercise and eat right, but they simply do not know the right approach to changing their habits. You may need someone to encourage and hold you accountable to your plan. That is the benefit of having a coach or trainer to develop safe and fun activities that are appropriate for your fitness level.

If you haven’t been active for a long time, it’s important to start slowly and work your way up to avoid straining your body. We can assess your functional fitness and design a fitness program that works best for you. You may also want to talk with your doctor if you decide to start a vigorous exercise program or significantly increase your physical activity.

I am on too many medications. Can you help me to get off of some of them?

We have helped many clients dramatically reduce the amount of medication they take.

We have worked with many clients and their physicians to help our clients live a healthier lifestyle, so that many medications are no longer necessary.

Exercise is a proven way to lower blood pressure, reduce cholesterol, decrease inflammation and many other issues. Of course, you must never stop a medication on your own as this may have serious consequences.

I am afraid of falling. Can I improve my balance?

Our prescribed exercises have helped so many of our clients regain their confidence and improve their balance, in a safe, supervised way. The Power Plate, in particular, helps to significantly improve balance and stability.

If you are an older adult, balance exercises are especially important because they can help prevent falls and maintain independence.

I received my Dexa Scan results and they weren’t good. Can you help me?

Yes, we have the bioDensity™ system which is the key to stronger bones. There are four exercises, each taking 5 seconds to complete. Each exercise works out one of the four major muscle groups in the body. Your workout is recorded on a graph that shows the gains in strength over the previous twelve weeks. As the exercise is performed you watch a dial on the computer screen. The screen shows what you were able to do the previous week and you are challenging yourself to beat last week’s record. As you increase in force output each week you build muscle, in turn your muscle causes your bones to compress and flex. This triggers the natural response to start building new bone cells. In simple terms this reaction to stimulate bone growth is what reverses Osteopenia and Osteoporosis.
